What is LSFM?
Light sheet fluorescence microscopy (LSFM) illuminates biological specimens with a plane of light for high-throughput serial acquisition of 3D images.
Structured Illumination (SI)
We use a 1D spatial light modulator called a grating light valve to produce illumination patterns used in optical sectioning structured illumination microscopy.
Sample Interface
An open-top biological interface is enabled using a hypohemispherical immersion lens to limit aberrations when obliquely imaging across a flat glass window.
Postprocessing
In order to perform postprocessing, we are building realtime GPU routines to quickly deskew and deconvolve the raw image data.
